The leading solar protection company was present at the Edifica event, a biennial trade fair that brings together the top leaders in sustainable construction. On this occasion, some of the latest trends in the world of solar protection and efficiency such as energy transition and digitalisation could be seen, as well as exchanges of opinion between experts in the passive and healthy building sector.
The multinational took advantage of its presence at Edifica to offer assembly and disassembly training sessions of its products in different construction solutions, such as the Metalunic and Lamisol adjustable external blinds, among others. Griesser held another workshop in which the Expanded Neopord Tunnel Box was presented. The tunnel allows to soundproof a home in an extremely effective way and to insulate it from extreme temperatures. "The debate, reflection and deepening of topics around solar protection and energy efficiency are fundamental, and the creation of spaces such as Edifica to carry them out are essential", concluded Domínguez, Griesser’s Country Manager for Spain.
Griesser's presence at Edifica has had great repercussions for the sector given that, in the words of Antonio Domínguez, "we continue on our path of raising awareness among the public, architects, developers, installers and all construction agents that there is a problem of overheating and that is why we need solar protection more than ever". He also states that "our work and our products always add value to energy efficiency because of the dynamic solar controls that we have".
In relation to the forecasts for 2022, Griesser's Country Manager for Spain expressed the need for "materials to continue to be available, prices to be contained and for users to be patient with delivery dates" due to the strong increase in consumption in the market. The meeting closed its doors after counting more than 11,000 visitors, 60% more than in 2018. In addition, more than 2,000 people were able to follow the streaming broadcast and 750,000 people followed the publications on social networks, with Edifica being one of the sector's trending topics with the greatest reach throughout the week.
Edifica 2021, promoted by the Passivhaus Consortium and carried out thanks to the collaboration of the Government of Navarra, Pamplona City Council and Nasuvinsa, was also sponsored by Acciona, as well as with the collaboration of the leaders of sustainable construction at national and international level.
